We are incredibly excited to welcome Elaine Lennon to The MacRobert Hall in Tarland and it’s sure to be a night not to be missed!

Since starting her musical career in 2018, Elaine was awarded Nashville Songwriter’s One To Watch, has a coveted Danny Kyle Award under her belt and won Creative Scotland support for her Debut Album (Produced by Findlay Napier, Engineered by Paul and Jamie Savage). Released to high acclaim at Celtic Connections 2020, the album was awarded Celtic Music Radio’s first ever ‘ALBUM OF THE YEAR’ Award.

With Blabber n’ Smoke naming her ”One of the most in demand performers on the Glasgow music scene”, her live performances have been dubbed by many as ‘not to be missed’. She has performed at UK festivals, Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe, opened for artists ranging from Rab Noakes to Eric Paslay and performed headline shows with Grammy Winning Singer-Songwriter Michael Logen.

Host of Firewalker Films Productions and Millport Country Music Festival Artist’s Jam, her music has featured regularly on BBC Radio winning her comparisons to Lori McKenna, Beth Nielsen Chapman, Annie Lennox, Carole King, Nina Simone and Adele. This Cumbernauld mum has created her own musical tapestry, linking her unique blend of old and new with her distinctive vocal and style.

The MacRobert Hall, Tarland

The MacRobert Memorial Hall (The Tarland Hall to many) was built on the site of the former Cromar Hall in Tarland Square. Opened in 1953, it was gifted to the community by Lady MacRobert. The MacRobert Hall Tarland, is suitable for weddings, dance classes, jumble sales, ceilidhs, festivals, concerts, drama productions and so much more…. The main Tarland Hall has a large stage equipped with lighting and sound systems. The Upper Hall is ideal for small functions, parties and meetings and has a built-in projector and screen for presentations and film shows. The Tarland Hall is run on behalf of the community by the Tarland Welfare Trust, a group of volunteers who give of their time to help promote and look after the hall.
