Darvel Town Hall is a magnificent ‘B Listed’ building which sits prominently on the Main Street in the centre of the village. The building was designed by Thomas Henry Smith in the neoclassical style, built in red sandstone and was completed in 1905.
A small heritage museum was established in the entrance foyer of the building, containing artefacts associated with the locally-born physician, Sir Alexander Fleming, and items associated with the local lace-making industry.
