The Kyle of Sutherland Hub is a unique and vibrant facility open to all, 7 days a week all year. Located in the Scottish Highlands’ county of Sutherland, between the villages of Bonar Bridge and Ardgay. The Hub is just a stones throw away from the NC500 route. Housing the north’s premier soft play, fitness suite, cafe, rooms for hire, and a diverse range of clubs and classes there is something for everyone young, old and those in between. The Hub is a voluntary managed social enterprise and registered charity, facilitating physical and emotional health and well-being, reducing isolation, creating opportunities for skills development and overcoming multiple levels of deprivation faced by our communities due to location. Through community engagement we aim to provide clubs, activities and classes that met the needs of all ages and abilities and enhance the Kyle of Sutherland as a place to live, work and visit. Children and Young people are at the core of our service from birth upwards. They are central to developing services aimed at them, there implementation and what happens next for them. The Hub is a community owned asset which started life on an old double-decker bus and two temporary classrooms. It is a project at the heart of the community, that is fully inclusive, non-judgmental and engaging. The Hub supports local employment and volunteering opportunities.
