Rousay Community School is situated on the East side of the island of Rousay, which is a small, hilly island about 3km North of Mainland, the largest island in the Orkney Islands of Scotland. It has been nicknamed “Egypt of the North” due to its archaeological diversity.
The school serves the islands of Rousay, Egilsay and Wyre and has a community wing attached to it for all locals to use.
